How it works
The product is not really about death. It is about relationships — death simply creates the deadline.
1. Leave It
Write a private message for someone important to you. Text messages, up to 10,000 characters, one recipient per message.
2. Protect It
Your message is locked inside your private Message Vault. You keep complete control while you are alive, and every revision is kept in your version history.
3. Deliver It
After your death has been carefully verified, a secure, time-limited link is created for the person you chose. They verify their identity before reading anything.
The verification process
Report received
A confirmed Message Guardian reports a death. Nothing is released. Messages stay locked.
We try to reach you
We attempt direct contact. Any successful sign-in stops the process immediately.
Evidence review
Our team reviews supporting evidence and Guardian responses, and may request more information.
Verification
Only an administrator can record a verified death, and never on one person's word alone.
Waiting period
A cooling-off period follows verification. It can be paused at any point.
Release authorized
Only after the waiting period ends can release be authorized and delivery records created.
There is no dead-man’s switch. Inactivity, a missed review or an unconfirmed report never releases anything. When meaningful uncertainty exists, we release nothing.
